Tombura-Yambio Catholic Diocese training of 20 Catechists from seven parishes in the on vocation and commitments concluded on Wednesday at the Pastoral Liturgical and Catechetical Centre or PALICA in Nzara County.
Diocesan Head Catechist and Coordinator Richard Gbiaundore Diaborongba said they contributed money and food to facilitate the training, organised in preparation for the catechists feast day on Sunday, Anisa Radio reported.
He said the feast is a recognized for gifts offering to the catechists all over Tombura-Yambio diocese.
Diocesan Deputy Pastoral Coordinator Fr Luke Yugue urged the trainees to stick to prayers so that God grants them Holy Spirit to serve his people.
He advised them not to intervene in teachings which are out of Catholic doctrine and norms.
Catechist Representative, Mateo Mosoro called on Christians to turn up for the celebration on Sunday.
