Yei River County and Municipal leaders on Tuesday during the celebration of World Teachers’ Day appealed to the non-governmental organizations to collaboratively extend their support to boost the educational services.
County Commissioner Bidali Cosmas Wori called on partners to cooperate and put efforts together to track down challenges facing the education sector, Easter Radio reported.
Mayor Santo Paul Lasuba stressed the need to train teachers, address cries and respond to their most needs for better delivery of services.
He said teachers are only underrated and ignored in the societies in the current situation compared to the previous understanding in terms of respect.
