Girl Education Supervisor tells schools early marriage dangers

Yei County Girl Child Education Supervisor on Wednesday sensitized girls on early pregnancies and marriages that contribute to school drop out.
 
Agnes Robba Bobole told Easter Radio after enlightening pupils and students from various primary and secondary schools at Christ the King Primary School, that the exercise aimed at educating the girls on dangers of early pregnancies.
 
She lamented that early pregnancies contribute to complications during delivery where the uterus can rupture or the bladder might get torn leading to continuous swellings and deterioration of human health.
 
Ms Robba said education is to qualify a girl to be a member of the 25 percent at any level of the government.
