Teachers condemn South Sudan-Uganda border fracas

Secondary School teachers and board of governors condemned the recent border conflict between Ugandan Ma’di of Moyo District and South Sudanese Kuku of Kajo-Keji County which led to lose of lives and properties.
 
In an open letter CRN obtained the Comboni Missionary Sisters organized a workshop on conflict management or resolution and peace building attracted board of governors and secondary schools teachers, including head teachers in Kajo-Keji.
 
The participants criticized the violent way of resolving border issues between the two communities, stating that the best way was through dialogue.
 
The teachers called on all other Kuku and Ma’di who are not within the jurisdiction of the incidents to stop posing threat to each other as the two communities have come to a common understanding.
