Lightning strike killed three children at a kraal of Kumu Fog village in Kumbur Payam of Heiban County, Nuba Mountains on Sunday late evening.
The three deceased boys aged between ten and 13 are from two families: Two belong to Khamis Aglattun and one to Kabash Belo.
A family member told Voice of Peace that one calf and four goats were also killed and that thatch house was reduced to ashes.
Normally in Nuba Tira tradition when lightning kills people or livestock, people associate it with some family problems.
The entire Kumu Fog village is mourning the three young boys.
