Women of Faith Group comprising 12 members at All Saints Episcopal Cathedral said they are planning to visit prisons and hospitals in Juba and other parts of the country in the coming Christmas season to preach the word of God and provide some basic needs.
Group representative Sunday Andera told CRN on Saturday that they started the work last year but was interrupted by the mid December conflict.
Ms Andera said the group has a vision to empower women spiritually and economically.
She added that they sent two of groups to Turkey to bring children, men and women clothes, shoes and many goods for raising funds.
The representative encouraged fellow women to get involve in business, telling them that God will multiply the little money they start with.
She added that they do not believe in prosperity but in empowerment because women are suffering in South Sudan and that some cannot buy even clothes for their children or send them to school.
