Good News Radio of Rumbek Catholic Diocese opened a music studio to promote local talents and provide quality recording services to artists in Lakes and neighbouring States.
 
Professor K, a famous singer in the State, who was the first to record on Wednesday, expressed satisfaction with the quality of the studio.
 
Professor K said the presence of the music studio in Lakes State would save artists from travelling long distances to record their songs.
 
He urged his fellow musicians to utilize the opportunity and save costs of travel.
 
Good News Radio Director Norbert Otieno thanked God for the studio that was delayed for a year and now operational.
 
He said the studio aims at promoting talent of youths in the music industry and market the State and the region through songs that bring positive change to the society.
 
Good News Radio hired a Kenyan producer with ten years experience in professional music production.
