ECSSS Bishops call on warring parties to embrace peace

Bishops of the Episcopal Church of South Sudan and Sudan called on the national government and the SPLM in opposition to embrace peace through the negotiations they are discussing in Bahir Dar, Ethiopia.
 
Archbishop Daniel Deng Bull said without peace and stability, development would not be realized in the country, Easter Radio reported.
 
Yei ECSSS Diocesan Bishop Hillary Luwate Adeba appealed to the warring parties to remain committed to the peace talks, accept their mistakes and open new chapters for reconciliation.
 
The two Bishops made the remarks during the opening of one-month training for peace and reconciliation mobilizers drawn from the ten states of South Sudan.
