Two women and men died after a taxi they were travelling in came under attack by suspected armed youths.
The attack that occurred two kilometres from Malou Army barracks on Wednesday afternoon left several other passengers and the driver seriously injured, Good News Radio reported.
A female survivor from the ambush disclosed that eight men including four armed ones emerged from bush and stopped their vehicle at a gunpoint.
She said the men opened fire at them when the driver refused to stop, killing four passengers on spot.
The survivors are receiving medical treatment at Rumbek Civil Hospital.
