Yei Police Gender Desk Criminal Investigator on Wednesday said cases of rape and adultery increased in the county.
Tereka Fabio Ramijo told Easter Radio that since August they registered 12 rape cases between 12 and 17 years old, mostly school age children with rapists from ages of 18 to 30.
He also cited cases of early marriage and violence against women and children at a high level of practice.
The Criminal Investigator called for immediate reporting of crimes to the police for the perpetrators to face the law.
