Yei Catholic Bishop on Sunday at Christ the King Cathedral urged South Sudanese to live in peace with neighbouring countries of Uganda, Kenya, DR Congo and Sudan.
Bishop Erkulano Lodu Tombe commended Kajo-Keji County Commissioner Henry Kala Sabuni for telling citizens not to pay evil with evil, but remain calm as South Sudan and Uganda governments try to settle border tensions, Easter Radio reported.
The bishop called on South Sudan and Uganda presidency to quickly resolve land and border disputes to end bloody fighting between residents of Kajo-Keji County and Moyo District.
The Catholic prelate appeals to Christians to continue praying for peace in the country and Ugandans and South Sudanese battling along the border.
