Over 300 vehicles are stranded along Yei-Maridi road because heavy rain worsened road conditions.
Truck drivers told Easter Radio on Wednesday in Logo ten miles along Yei Maridi road that they contributed 80 South Sudanese Pounds each to repair potholes.
They added that they spent nearly a month at the same place expressed disappointments that further delay of the goods would affect the market.
The drivers lamented that their living and health conditions are worsening because of little the food they had finished.
They transport mixed goods including sugar, salt, petroleum and other products to Western Equatoria, Western Bahr El Ghazal and Lakes States.
Yei-Maridi road is a national road linking Western and Central Equatoria state.
Easter Radio could not find the County Roads and Bridges Officials for comment.
