South Sudan Relief and Rehabilitation Commission or SSRRC Chairperson on Wednesday opened PACT South Sudan Capacity Development Trade fair event in Juba, praising humanitarian organizations.

Kueth Kang Deng told the press that he was declaring the resumption of the three-day event for strengthening local capacity for sustainable peace and development.

He commended non-governmental organizations and civil society bodies for helping the needy across the country.

Mr Kang expressed the Commission’s commitment to support humanitarian agencies across South Sudan.

PACT South Sudan Country Director Richard Hoffman said the Trade Fair strengthens capacity development through training, social joint events and possible coalition formation in October as an opportunity for learning.

He explained that organizational coalition would help agencies identify areas of concern priority in local communities and cooperate to address them.

Acting Service Providers’ Team Leader Leonard Kambona believes that the event brings about linkage to service providers and sense of direction to spot capacity building agencies across the country.

He hopes the initiative continues to benefit the nation better.
