Western Equatoria Governor urged teachers to focus on their duties of teaching and supervision and refrain from too much drinking of alcohol in payams.
Addressing County Directors and Payam Supervisors Bangasi Joseph Bakosoro said it was humiliating to see educators going from house to house inspecting alcohol rather than supervising the learning process in schools.
The Governor instructed that no civil servant was allowed to drink during working hours or early in the morning.
He advised teachers to drink responsibly after work because they are supposed to be very smart and exemplary in every community.
