Vice President of the Republic on Thursday concluded a three-day national dialogue conference on peace and reconciliation in Western Bahr El Ghazal under the theme: ‘One nation, one people’ that recommended President Salva Kiir to continue in the transitional government until the general elections.

The Vice President reiterated government’s commitment to have a broad-based and inclusive government.
He said the proposal of creating more seven counties in Western Bahr El Ghazal remains a concern to be addressed.
The conference collected views of citizens to be reflected in the constitutional review process to forge social cohesion among South Sudanese ahead of the expected national dialogue and reconciliation after the Addis Ababa peace agreement.
