WES educationists resolve to present directors capitation budget

Western Equatoria Educationists in their two-day workshop that concluded on Friday to reinforce general learning systems in the state, adopted ten resolutions including presentation of a work plan and budget for the capitation and operational grants for Education Directors to work together with executive directors.
 
Education Ministry Director-General Gibson Francis Waru said they resolved that all schools should have gardens, demarcated and have land lease, organize cultural activities at least once a year at the county level, Anisa Radio reported.
 
He said they agreed that inspectors should visit schools at least once a month.
 
The Director General said the educationists agreed to own the Girls’ Education Bill with minor rectifications and also conduct workshops for directors and inspectors yearly.
 
State Education Minister Pia Philip Michael charged Payam Education Supervisors to fully see that learning is progressing in all schools.
 
He asked the state Governor to hand over ten motorbikes to County Education Directors to facilitate inspections.
