Health authorities in Yei River County of Central Equatoria are stepping up preventive awareness efforts on Ebola epidemic to health facilities and local communities in Payam and Bomas.
County Disease Surveillance Officer Michael Lugala said no cases was detected in South Sudan, but advised local communities to report suspected cases to health facilities for immediate action, Easter Radio reported.
According to health reports, at least 13 people died of Ebola diseases in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
