Yei Assistant Commissioner for Culture, Youth and Sports urged parents to educate their children about cultures to equip them with traditional diversities of cultural ethics in South Sudan.
Kujo Bernard told Easter Radio that most youth in the country are ignorant about their cultures, indulging in events like indecent dressing, drug abuse and disrespect which humiliate cultural values.
He urged all parents to consider their cultures important, teach children mother tongues, give traditional names and involve them in all cultural events to learn more.
