United Nations Mission in South Sudan or UNMISS head disclosed plans to close the internally displaced persons or IDPs’ camp in Juba na Bari also known as Tomping in May.
Hilde F Johnson told the press on Thursday that they will close the protection site until the one in Jebel is ready due to overcrowding and inadequate services, Bakhita Radio reported.
Ms Johnson explained that during the mid December crisis, UNMISS decided to open their gates to civilians seeking protection all over the country.
She added that their Mission has a duty to give protection to the people under threats in South Sudan and Sudan.
