United Nations Mission in South Sudan or UNMISS Police on Monday started training police officers in Tonj South County of Warrap State.
UNMISS Officer Chapart Madiko said the training was to empower local police with technical skills and attitudes of professional investigation, Don Bosco Radio reported.
Mr Madiko said the training that will finish on Friday was to improve their attitude on how they should handle victims and complainants of crimes during investigation.
He added that they also impart in Tonj police skills of tackling properly human rights cases.
Mr Madiko said UNMISS police and the government cooperate to train police officers to know their role in handling cases.
