Electricity, Dam, Water and Irrigation ministry Engineer on Tuesday arrived in Yambio to evaluate and assess existing water facilities in Western Equatoria.
Pagan John and state Physical Infrastructure ministry Director General Richard Minzani discussed issues of formulating guidelines and standard designs to maintain water sources, Anisa Radio reported.
The Director General said there were a good number of boreholes that need proper maintenance.
He said the state population was increasing and inadequate water facilities became one of the main challenges.
