The President of the Republic on Sunday donated one ambulance to Kajo-Keji Civil Hospital to help in emergency cases and save lives.
President Salva Kiir Mayardit’s donation was received by the County Commissioner Henry Kala Sabuni.
The County Senior Information Inspector Beden Elikana Kenyi on Tuesday told CRN in a telephone interview that President Kiir appealed to health personnel to commit to their services in the county.
The Inspector reported that the President urged farmers to participate fully in preparing land for the first season to avoid hunger.
He added that President Kiir advised parents to send their children to school.
Commissioner Kala Sabuni appreciated the President’s donation.
He said the ambulance would help the hospital by reaching patients in remote payams.
National Legislative Assembly head of delegation to the county Anthony Kudus urged Kajo-Keji residents to stay peaceful.
He expressed government’s full commitment in the ongoing peace process in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
