Sacred Heart Parish Priest in Tonj South County of Warrap State advised Christians to have strong faith to get out of darkness.
In his homily on Sunday, Fr Dominic Kubuya said ‘Jesus Christ wants us to have strong faith and believe because he wants to free us from the darkness of blindness, corruption, killings and hatred’, Don Bosco Radio reported.
The priest gave an example of the blind man who was healed because of his strong faith in Jesus.
He added that ‘Jesus Christ is God who sacrificed himself to save people from sins, but not to separate them’.
Fr Kubuya said ‘Jesus is sprinkling his saliva on each one of us in form of baptism to bring us out of our sins’.
He urged the entire community of Tonj South to pray for the poor, peace and unity among South Sudanese.
Fr Kubuya also urged parents and guardians to send their children to school for their better future life.
He advised young people to take a good example of the blind man who believed in Jesus and his eyes were opened.
