Fifteen youths of St Joseph Lutaya Parish in Yei Catholic Diocese on Saturday visited Aba in DR Congo to pay condolence to the family and see the tomb of their Catechist Dominic Lumago who died on February 15 after suffering swollen neck.
Youths’ leader Khamis Emmanuel Gaitano told Easter Radio after arrival from Congo that their main aim was to pay respect to the late catechist who served them for many years.
Mr Khamis said they faced transport difficulty to go to Congo, but contributed the little they had and hired five motorcycles to ferry them to Aba.
The leader said many Christians were willing to go to see the tomb, but lack of transport forced them to remain behind.
