South Sudan Civil Society alliance on Friday said the head of Political Science in the University of Juba, Oyet Nathaniel Pierino, is no longer a member of the Society after he joined the SPLM/A in opposition early March.
Association for Independent Media head David Dau said Mr Nathaniel was sent by South Sudan NGO Forum to represent the civil society in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, but took his own direction to serve the opposition group, Bakhita Radio reported.
He said the civil society is non partisan and was there to be neutral to work to see that both delegations follow democratic principles.
The South Sudan civil Society urged the conflicting parties to continue dialogue in good faith to achieve sustainable peace and security in South Sudan.
