Inspector warns police against corruption

Police Inspector General warned police personnel of taking money from citizens and traders in the market.
 
General Pieng Deng Kuol called on the police to be friendly to citizens, warning them against threatening traders, Voice of Hope reported.
 
The Inspector told the police in Western Bahr El Ghazal to be ready to work for the interest of citizens under all conditions.
 
He discouraged traders from bribing police to finance their operation, stressing that it was every trader’s right to be protected.
 
General Deng made the remarks on Wednesday while opening a new police station at Jou market in Western Bahr El Ghazal.
