Western Equatoria Physical Infrastructure Ministry Roads Deputy Director on Tuesday appreciated government officials including the state Governor, Church and community leaders and NGOs who contributed fuel for maintaining ten-kilometre roads within Yambio town.
Joseph Kamal described the fuel contribution for repairing roads as a great achievement in the current situation of austerity measures, Anisa Radio reported.
He stressed that lack of resources was their main challenge to rehabilitate roads in Western Equatoria.
Engineer Kamal called upon communities whose roads were not rehabilitated to be patient.
He advised Baipuro, Zambago, Kpirabe and Gangara Emilia communities that mobilized fuel to wait until rehabilitation equipment return from Gangura to rehabilitate all their roads.
