USAID injects additional 83 million Dollars to humanitarian aid

United States Agency for International Development or USAID on Tuesday announced in Juba provision of additional 83 million US Dollars for humanitarian assistance to conflict affected South Sudanese.
 
Assistant Administrator for Democracy, Conflict and Humanitarian Assistance Nancy Lindsborg said the money was part of the four hundred million Dollars US provided to South Sudan, Bakhita Radio reported.
 
She explained that the money would be used for pruchasing food, drugs and tents for seltering the conflict victims in the country.
 
Ms Lindsborg said United States provided nearly 68 million US Dollars to World Food Program, UNICEF and other non-governmental organizations to help people forced out of their homes in South Sudan.
