Eastern Equatoria Governor reissued an order banning civilians from moving with guns in towns.
 
Louis Lobong Lojore at Loriyok Payam in Budi County on Saturday warned that any body found defying the directive should be disarmed, Emmanuel Radio reported.
 
He said government’s efforts to address issues related to cattle raiding were continuing.
 
Governor Lobong advised citizens to embrace peace and unity to realize development in the state.
 
State Advisor on Gender, Social Welfare and Human Rights, Emilio Paul Loki stressed the importance of peaceful co-existence among communities.
 
He advised citizens to live in harmony with their neighbouring communities.
 
The Advisor urged Buya community to send their children to school in order to eradicate illiteracy.
