Central Equatoria Labour and Public Service Ministry on Monday started a two-week training of Yei River County Labor and Establishment officials on administration.

The State Labour Director Mark Morbe Jada told journalists that the officials would acquire skills in employees’ welfare, Easter Radio reported.

He said the labour officials would be enlightened on administration of the private sector.

The Director said the training would equip officials with skills on strategies to deal with unnecessary termination of employees’ contracts in both public and private sectors.

He said undue terminations in organizations became daily activities which needs the intervention of the Labour Office to ensure legal procedures.

The Director said the labor law does not allow any organization to terminate employees’ contracts without the concept of the Labour Office.

Mr Morbe said they started training labour officials in Juba, Terekeka, Lainya and would cover all the six counties of the state.
