Charity gives over 70 schools development funds

Anna Fi Henna, a charity organization, gave 76 primary schools in Wau, Western Bahr El Ghazal money for development and girls’ education.
 
State Planning and Budgeting Director Hussein Mohamed Hussein explained that the organization seeks to find ways of eliminating challenges facing students and meant for girls of primary five to senior four, Voice of Hope reported.
 
He acknowledged the role of the government in supporting education in the country, especially girls from primary five to senior four.
 
The director urged the government under the leadership of President Kiir Mayardit to continue supporting schools and realize quality education in the country.
 
He directed the proper use of funds in respective schools, calling on head teachers to use the development money in efficiently.
 
The Director said transparency and accountability during funds usage is important, promising that the government would follow up the implementation.
 
Anna Fi Henna organization is supporting primary schools through the government and secondary schools through United Kingdom Funds.
 
The organization delivered funds to Central Equatoria and Western Bahr El Ghazal States. 
 
The support is expected to continue for five years.
