Morobo County Commissioner in Central Equatoria affirmed government commitment to support activities of the people with disabilities and their newly formed Union.
Speaking during the opening of the meeting of Union’s formation on Thursday, Moses Simon Soro described the Union as a great achievement for the people with disability, Morobo Radio reported.
The Commissioner called on the people with disabilities to unite to speak with one voice in order to get their needs.
Central Equatoria Union of the People with Disabilities vice secretary Emmanuel Obona said disabled people should not rely on begging.
