World Vision promises to support peaceful states

World Vision International delegates from Yambio, Juba, Canada and USA headquarters on Wednesday pledged to continue supporting peaceful states in South Sudan.
 
Country Director Perry Mansfield disclosed that their visit was to show donor countries World Vision’s commitments to support South Sudanese in the face of crisis, Anisa Radio reported.
 
He added that they wanted to encourage donor countries to continue supporting peaceful states like Western Equatoria.
 
Yambio County Commissioner Kuzee John Elia welcomed the visitors and assured them of their readiness to maintain peace and security to pave way for development.
 
He hailed the organization’s work in the state especially in Yambio County in health, food security and humanitarian assistance to the Congolese refugees in Makpandu.
 
Western Equatoria branch Manager Magdalene Bilonde expressed gratitude for the good relationship between Yambio County administration and the World Vision.
