Internally Displaced Persons or IDPs in UNMISS Juba Na Bari compound are complaining that heavy rains destroy vaccination cards.

Health Emergency Respond Team Manager Wani Michael told CRN that many IDPs said they were vaccinated, but lost their cards to heavy downpour.

He added that they were demanding for cards replacement, posing a dilemma to vaccinators in determining whether or not they were given the first dose.

The health manager expected the clients who received the first dose to present their cards before the next phase.

Mr Wani said they provided pieces of soap vaccinated IDPs upon completion of the vaccination doses.

Mr Wani says the vaccination prevents cholera outbreak in overcrowded IDPs camps
