MSF to vaccinate 50,000 people against cholera, meningitis, measles

Medicines Sans Frontiers or MSF will vaccinate, 40 thousand people aged between 1 and 30 years old against meningitis in April.
 
The organization in a statement said they would vaccinate another ten thousand people living in the River Nile islands against cholera, meningitis and measles.
 
MSF in collaboration with the national Health Ministry, World Health Organization or WHO and UNICEFvaccinated 52 thousand IDPs and the host population of Mingkaman, Awerial County and surrounding areas against cholera.
 
The 52 people received the first round of cholera in one week and expected to receive the second in April.
 
World Health Organization recommended that the oral anti-cholera vaccine offers protection against the disease for two years.
