Morobo farmers say agriculture not last resort

Morobo County Farmers in Central Equatoria said agriculture was not the last resort in life, but an activity to generate money and get enough food.
 
A resident of Ukaba area of Kindi Boma in Gulumbi Payam Yakani Lavi explained that agriculture enables people to support families by fulfilling basic needs, Morobo Radio reported.
 
He said farmers who live on agriculture are ever happy because they have food throughout the year.
 
Nasu Farm Director Mawa Samuel Milton said without agriculture how much the working class earn would all be spent on food purchases.
 
He called on non-governmental organizations and the government to support agricultural sector to boost development.
 
South Sudan Community Development Foundation Project Officer Titus Alemin Gala said some people do not understand the importance of group work.
