Yei County Information Inspector on Wednesday described enrolment of pupils to Senior One without Primary Eight results as a blockage to their future.
Ephraim Jomo Michael said demoting learners who failed the Primary Eight Exams, would be financially and physiologically affect them, Easter Radio reported.
He explained that failures could not accept to repeat Primary Eight after paying school fees and would also hurt their psychological pride in secondary level.
The Inspector added that enrolling Senior One without results would encourage parents to buy certificates instead of learners working hard to attain them.
Mr Jomo urged Secondary Schools to follow government decisions and understand the political situation in the country, causing delays in results processing.
The Inspector spoke after the suspension of senior one classes, pending Primary Eight results.
