The Supreme special court on Wednesday postponed trial of the four alleged coup plotters namely Pagan Amum Okiech, Oyay Deng Ajak, Ezekiel Lul Gatkuoth and Dr Majak De Agoot Atem from Wednesday March 19 to Thursday.
An anonymous source told CRN that the court was adjourned due to a religious function at St Joseph Parish Church by Vatican guest Cardinal Turkson Peter Kwadwo Apiah bringing message of peace and justice.
It is not clear whether the seven bailed detainees are in Juba for the trial.
The seven include former cabinet ministers Deng Alor Kuol, Gier Chuang Aluong, Kosti Manibe Ngai, John Luk Jok, and Madut Biar Yel, Dr Cirino Hiteng Ofuho and former Lakes State Governor Engineer Chol Tong Mayay at the custody of Kenyan government.
