Rumbek traders expressed happiness as they get profit due to easy access of Dollars in the black market.
Dan Alex told Good News Radio on Monday that since the beginning of March they get Dollars at 400 South Sudanese Pounds compared to 500 Pounds in January.
He said their businesses were improving as many people turned up to buy their goods in the market.
Mr Alex cited high price for hiring lorries to transport goods from Uganda to South Sudan as one of the challenges facing Rumbek traders.
He said the ongoing conflict in South Sudan is affecting the business because East African drivers overcharge them on the ground that the country is not yet safe.
The traders called on the warring parties to accept peace such that life returns to normal.
