Heiban County Commissioner urged Nuba Relief; Rehabilitation Development Organization to help local communities fight corruption and promote social justice and peace.

Mubarak Bulis Tutu said peace was intangible, calling on the participants to implement it first in their hearts before preaching it to others, Voice of Peace, reported.

A participant, Rani Babiker Wenza, said ‘peace starts within oneself.’

The workshop targeted religious leaders, youths, women and different representatives in the state including 30 regional leaders.

The Nuba Relief and Rehabilitation Development Organization on Friday concluded a four-day workshop in Hakima, Heiban County to promote peace and social coexistence among communities and neighbouring tribes.
