South Sudan deafness to listen to messages of peace left so many people dead, displaced and fighting continues.

These were words of Yei Catholic Bishop Erkulano Lodu Tombe to Christians at Christ the King Cathedral on Sunday, Easter Radio reported.

He said lack of fear of God would mean lack of peace.

Bishop Lodu said there were many bodies unburied because only few people were left and could not burry them.

The Catholic Bishop termed the continuous war as “deafness of hearts and minds to listen to messages of peace from God”.

Bishop Lodu Tombe described the coming of Cardinal Peter Tukson to South as Rome’s concern to South Sudan situation, calling on citizens to be more concerned.

The Bishop appealed to citizens to denounce war so that other countries would add on South Sudanese struggle for peace.

Bishop Lodu announced that Cardinal Peter Tukson would visit South Sudan on Tuesday.
