Members of National Legislative Assembly on Friday handed a Primary and a Secondary schools built with the Constituency Development Fund or CDF to Lainya County of Central Equatorial state.

MPs representative Joyce Dousman James told Easter Radio in a telephone interview that they handed Logili, Koyoki, Mundu Primary Schools, Limbe Secondary School, Mukaya Payam headquarters and women office in Lainya.

She said they used CDF given to them since 2010 for building seven projects in Lainya County.

MP Dousman promised to lobby for more funds to support to build schools especially secondary ones.

She complained that lack of girls’ boarding secondary schools was a major cause of girls’ drop out.

MP Dousman said she, the late Dr Samson Kwaje and the late Jimmy Lemi did not face problem to implement the projects because they consulted their communities before starting any work.

She said the National Legislative Assembly gave Lainya County 18 thousand Sudanese Pounds.
