WES Education Ministry trains 45 students on HIV/AIDS

Western Equatoria Education Ministry in collaboration with Catholic Medical Mission Board concluded training 45 students on dangers of HIV AIDS.
 
The training was to educate students so that they can teach others about dangers of HIV AIDS and how to prevent themselves from getting the disease, Anisa Radio reported.
 
State Education Minister Pia Philip Michael told the students to be ambassadors at their various schools, villages and become peer educators.
 
He appreciated the Catholic Medical Mission Board for their efforts to fight HIV AIDS in the state.
 
He requested them to present video shows about HIV AIDS to students.
 
Students’ representative Izakia Moses welcomed the Minister’s request to the Catholic Medical Mission Board to educate them on the dangers of HIV AIDS.
 
The training brought students from Yambio, Nzara and Ezo counties.
