Women Association chairperson in Kumbur Payam of Nuba Mountains urged the political parties in the Sudan to bring peace.
Addressing International Women’s Day celebration on Saturday, Amra Al Fahl condemned the ongoing war in Nuba Mountains and called for a comprehensive peace, Voice of Peace reported.
She strongly stressed that women are tired of war and want peace in the country.
Ms Al-Fahl called on Sudan political parties, particularly Khartoum government to promote development in the country.
The celebration was coloured by a drama performance condemning high prices of goods in the markets and family responsibilities.
