The national deputy minister for Roads and Bridges on Friday launched Yei-Lasu road rehabilitation.
Simon Mijok Majok told Easter Radio that the 45-kilometre road costs about 11 million South Sudanese Pounds
He said it was important to construct the road because it links South Sudan to DR Congo.
Yei River County Commissioner Juma David Augustine said the County authority was dedicated to support the company to complete the construction.
He urged the constructors to work well but not like the previous constructors.
The road was funded by the national ministry of roads and bridges.
