A delegation of interdenominational Christian preachers on Friday reminded government authorities to consult God for directives in governance.
Kajo-Keji County Press Secretary Amule Charles told CRN on telephone that Reverend Canon John Lomundu urged government leaders to put God first in all they do.
He said the preachers told South Sudanese rulers to be just in all governance affairs.
The press secretary added that Canon Lomundu said the church was there to direct the government on leadership matters.
He said the evangelist observed that political leaders needed a lot of spiritual guidance to realize lasting peace in the country.
Kajo-Keji Commissioner Henry Kala Sabuni asked the evangelists to pray for the young generation in the County abandoning education.
The press secretary reported that the Commissioner said it was very painful to see children refusing to go to school.
Church and government authorities fixed seventh of every month the day for evangelizing government institutions to realize civil servants reformation.
