Lata primary school head teacher in Otogo Payam of Yei River County appealed to the state government to support stranded pupils before heavy rain begins.
Isaac Taban told the press that there are currently over 300 pupils learning under trees, Easter Radio reported.
The County Acting Education Director Philip Taban said the issue was presented to the state Government for quick intervention.
He called on the community to erect a temporary shelter for the pupils.
Lata community laid about thirty thousand bricks for constructing a concrete school.
