Kajo-Keji County Commissioner told chiefs in his first visit to Kala Boma of Liwolo Payam to inspect families and ensure no child stays at home without schooling.

Press Secretary Amule Charles told CRN that Henry Kala Sabuni urged citizens to send all children to school.

He added that chiefs were charged with the responsibility to ensure that no child loiters around the homestead.

Mr Amule said the Commissioner urged Kala Boma residents to stay in harmony with Dinka pastoralists from Jonglei State currently grazing their cattle in the area.

He said Commissioner Kala told the indigenous to treat the pastoralists as brothers with love, peace and tolerance.

The Press Secretary said executive chiefs and residents were worried that they may come into conflict with the cattle keepers, should they fail to control their animals from destroying gardens.

Mr Amule said authorities were addressing the issue in advance to avoid escalation.

The Commissioner is planning to meet Dinka pastoralists in the bush to establish their number and instruct them how to stay with the sons and daughters of the soil.
