St Joseph Secondary and Primary students on Friday opened the new academic year with Eucharistic celebrations.
Yei Diocesan Education Coordinator Fr Alex Lo’diong Sakor said they want to adopt the culture of opening and closing every academic year by sharing the word of God, Easter Radio reported.
He urged parents and the school administration to implement resolutions passed last year.
Fr Lo’diong warned that those who will violate the resolutions would be punished or their parents summoned to address the culprits.
The Coordinator said regulations were not made to punished students, but to make them behave and perform better in schools.
