Yei Municipal Legislative Council Planning and Finance chairperson revealed a plan to form a committee to control all revenues.
Denis Lasuba told the press on Thursday that the committee would formulate revenue collection policies and procedures, Easter Radio reported.
He added that the Council passed five million South Sudanese Pounds six months’ supplementary budget.
The chairperson stressed the need to change many cases of irregularities and corruption to establish transparency and accountability.
He reminded that the Council passed six bills from February 20 to 27, 2014.
